I suddenly lost track of time...I don't know how many weeks we have been here since we arrived last month...Of course, I still have that homesickness, evidently in my sleep. Now we some what are getting accustomed to the life here. The only thing we couldn't agree more is the driver who is perpetually late.
I also have started to gauge my shopping here and really starting to scrimp for the best on the last day here. I wouldn't possibly leave here empty handed. Some of the bargains are to die for. Like the authentic Levi's, the pashmina shawls and lots more.
I caught my sight uppon this Addidas jacket which is green and very trendy. I wasn't really sure if it is a good buy. Oh, I really have to reserve these thoughts when the day comes...
At home, the lights and fan in my room didn't work as well as the lights for the bathroom. Only certain part of the apartments has it. I was lucky enough to have the water heater working or else I would be freezing to death bathing in cold morning shower.
Remember about the controversial book, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, I bought it here for $9 from an authorized book store ( I never indulged in pirated copies along the street) . So yeah, it is one of the books that I longing to read. First I had my glimpse from the school library but for a week loan only. I'm a very slow reader so I like to take my time to savour the part and guessing what's next. It was indeed a good buy. Maybe I should buy some other story books like Jeffry Archer's or maybe ... I can't think any at the moment....
I better get back to work...I just couldn't just understand why I have to do JavaScript even though I don't know anything about it, it wasn't even in my resume....argh...I just read an entry from the school site...guess what, A "what" to India...haiz...I can't wait to share some of points...I wonder if my entry needed to be censored...I didn't include any lewd messages or what...just my point of view...
I shall call my entry. "Chennai - City of Hope"...Any suggestions are welcome... :)
