Many people has been asking how do I cope with the work here. Scandent corporations is huge with its premises extend from the fourth floor right up to the ninth of KRM centre. Most of the employees here are either busy engaging with major clients like Liberty Mutual and Exel.

We made quite a few acquaintance here and there are generally warm. Initially, we thought that they were not that quite engaging with foreigners but now we know quite a few of them. One of them is due to come to Singapore and has been getting information from us. We are definitely glad to help them.

Transportation here are getting from bad to worse with ridiculous pricing offered by the call taxi. The fact is that we are not getting any direct allowance from the company here and we had to solely rely on the money that we have in our pockets. Quite tight but we had to live with it. I can't just demand for cheaper prices as we have to rationalise the conditions here too. It is not that we don't the oil price here is increasing but we have to be fed too.

Rs 100 for a single trip to work and another Rs 100 back going to cost us huge... even though it is divided amongst the five us, I still thing we can get better. I think these companies are taking us for a ride and it doesn't look honest enough to me.

Living expectations were not that up to standard and it is not that I expect even better than SG living standards. The things they charged here are more often than not atrocious. Their tax her cost at least 10% of things wer bought. The good thing is that some items are here are marked Maximum Retail Price or MRP which includes all the necessary tax. Imported things here are often than not expensive back at home. At some point of time, I was quite disappointed.

On the bright side, there is some major shopping centres that I wished to visit. Most of them are near our work places and our neighbourhood. The area considered quite posh to the locals and I can say that it is quite developing. I thought of visiting the Singapore Tourist Center one of these days which is also nearby.

I really hope my another 66 days stay here bear some fruits.
