News oh News...good news that is...

This weekend will going to be our special trip to Pondicherry or Mahabalipuram...in fact, we are going to cover them over the weekends and the very following weekend...isn't that nice...

Well, maybe you would say, "so what?"...Firstly, we have to budget our travel and stuff...and we are seriously working on a tight budget of let's say SGD100-150...I surfed through the net to find anything that meets our demand but to no avail. Either there is not cheap transportation or there is a hotel that charges exorbitantly.

Secondly, we don't have really good liases around here and have to explore on our own....Luckily, we have our local friend here who had been here for almost two years already...erm...he's a Singaporean Chinese by the way..and they have agreed to accompany us to great destinations around Chennai and Pondi

Finally, the best of all, Scandent, without any obligations, have offered a transportation service for the trips...they had already arranged for our apartment and now a transportation for us....that's certainly very nice of them....I seriously doubt they are into something else but I must be prepared for unseen circumstances....

So, yup...tentatively everything seems to be very smooth at the moment...I hope no one cocked up at the last minute...I hate spoilers...

Haiz..sadly, my cash is running low :X but I must learn how to save up for the trip...I know it won't be that costly but I know how much it going to cost...

Orh...we viewed our apartments today and yesterday. The first apartment that we take a look wasn't that far from our workplace albeit the winding road and tight alleys...It was huge and bigger than our current stayhouse...except that, the exterior is a little turn off for me...no big corridors, filthy and some how I felt cramped when I stepped out of the house...so, we turned it down...

The next apartment was also bigger than our stayhouse, the only difference is that it has three balconies and separate dining area from living room area...plus, they have cable tv which I doubt the owner subscribed exclusive channels...

The downside of the apartment is that, there is a room which floods whenever the rain seeps throught the ceiling...quite disturbing fact for me...

In my opinion, I still like my cozy apartment which is much, much manageable. I think we are really used to it already...

I hope the next batch of girls come will take that big apartment..
