Okay...I'm back...I'm already so fed up with the web app server that cannot even load a simple html...ok..that's aside...
I began to learnt how to say 'no' already...that's consider a big achievement to me...It is not bad to play Mr Bad...well, for example when the taxi driver decides that you can be cheated out of a few rupees than he is wrong...
It was already the third time that he brought us for a tour...literally...he simply have that f***ing smirk on his face...Of course, I pretended not to notice the most exaggerating taxi-meter I ever see...While he bring us around, the damn thing kept rising and when we reach our workplace, we poor souls pay him the money which is about 20 rupees more...
That's not all...
To let you all know, every morning I made a call and even request that Muthusamy is not required to pick us up...but on that fateful day, we heard the bell rang for quite a long time like there is a lag time in between...unfortunately, I saw him through the window and I quickly rushed back to my room and lay my newly-bought map on the dining table....Guess what, I was searching for the shortest route...and by that time my temper is rising but I managed to keep it cool...or I guess not.
As soon as we on board the van aka call taxi, I kept my eye on him and stare into his eyes through the mirror...even before he could turn into the junction, I barked at him to take the shortest route and I could see him a little bit taken aback....serves him right...and jimmy patiently show him where is the shortest route...I could sense his uneasiness...when we finally reached our destination, I was satisfied to see the meter stop at 67 rupees...thank god...then, when we were about to pay, he demanded another 3 rupees more...I was like "WHAT?!" Of course that shit doesn't deserve a rupee more from us...so, I told him "nicely" that we paid him as per meter stated but he demanded waiting time fee...well, if you know me well, I couldn't be bothered to entertain such nuisance and I left the money on the seat and stomped off to office...I didn't even look back....
That was yesterday...
Today, guess what? It's him!! Argh...I know I have to keep my cool but when I seated in his taxi, I sat on the edge of back seat with my eyes eagled on him...Of course, he didn't dare to take his ever famous tour route because I was already ready to scream into his ear...luckily, he obligingly take the route we favoured...Only there is an exception, he tried to drive slowly, let the cars passed him and even tried to turn of the engine, hoping that the meter jumps faster....Unfortunately, lady luck was on my side...and it was true when I see the meter stops at 67 rupees...With me beside YH who was paying for the cab fare, he didn't even dare to make a deal...I feel so good when I give him a piece of my mind...
Just a piece of advice, when things got tough, you just have to be tougher...
