Great news for me....hahahaha...

That's right, I have been accepted to SMU School of Information System...

When I opened the letter box and saw the SMU insignia I thought it is just like one of those rejection letters and never have the urge to tear it open...I thought why bother to open up another rejection letter so yeah, I didn't open it...

When I open it, I was like I'm going to faint because I can't believe that they accepted me in despite the tough interview that I had earlier...It was so unexpected...

I know for some, you may have said "What's the big f*** about it?" I know it is not that something to marvel at but at least it is from a university...Of course, it would have been better if it comes from NTU or NUS which I doubt so from the latter...

I've already sent in my appeal to NTU to try my luck but I think I should grab this opportunity before it slips away...Nevermind that it is SMU because there are more things to come and who knows I might fare better in it...

I have read negative sentiments from different reading sources about SMU and they didn't really affect my choices when I applied for it...The only thing that hinders the complete application is the recent fee hike which is more than NTU and NUS....Of course there are different types of financial aids that I can ask for...

I really pity that some of my friends didn't get in and I'm certainly not gloating...To me, this is a really a surprise for me...Never in the years as a polytechnic student I thought about furthering my studies in a local university...I just apply to the three universities for the sake of applying...I was never serious about it...

My mum even said that she didn't waste the 21 years 2 months and 3 days + 9 months having me...I know I can't disappoint my mum because I'm going to prove that whatever she invested in me, I'm going to pay her off....I promise this to the whole world...
