Hi there! I'm back again....
Although I'm not supposed to be blogging about my NS experiences, I'll try my best not to reveal too much detail of it...
On 12 Sept 2006, I was scheduled to be enlisted to PA at 8.30 am but the bus chartered were not ready due to some difficulties that HTA met so we end up waited for the bus for nearly half an hour...
I was a bit apprehensive and quite unsure of the next few seconds then...bearing the fact that parents were not invited to HTA on our enlistment day...so I was made to come alone...
I got a short inflamation on my left eye followed by a series of symptoms like running nose and a bad cough...I had to bear with it until I reach Choa Chu Kang MRT station...the symptoms significantly reduced and I was back in health...
Upon reaching there, we were to made some declarations and some strip search for any tatoos or whatsoever and took our oath...Once the admin work has done, we moved off to our respective barracks in a temporary company due to IMF....
I could say that our trainings for these 10 days were quite heavy but we were lucky enough that we got the good FI(Field Instructors) who could crack some jokes and ease our tenseness...I only got my haircut from a so called saloon on Thursday...haiz....
training as usual we ran around the compound and taken the tour of each buildings and their respective out of bounds area....HTA is shared between the SPF, SCDF, ICA, Prisons Dept. and some other governmental body...All I could say is that the facilities is good..
Now, no more late nights and no more fooling around outside....my NS life has just begun....
