Congratulations to the 125th Intake who have graduated today and also not forgetting our 44th batch of OCT...
The day started out fine at first. I went out of the house super early like 0545hrs and the best thing is that I have to stand throughout the 1hr journey to CCK with sleepy eyes...
Upon reaching HTA - barrack, I quickly take a nap and woke up around 0830hrs to go to the armoury...The sky doesn't look friendly at all and I never anticipated anything...
Since FI Redzuan doesn't want anything to happen, he quickly devised some plans should there be a wet weather programme...so right after lunch, we quickly made some last minute polishing and stuff and affixing our ranks :p...
First, it was light drizzle and the programme proceeded as per normal and it went quite well and we were almost about to finish it...
We managed to hormat the commander, acting cp and the reviewing officer, we almost did sing the anthem and the awards has been successfully given out...Then, it start to become heavy. Nevertheless we marched past the reviewing officer until it became unbeareable that the emcee have to called it off...yeap, our POP have to be called off and our parade commander made so much blunder that I couldn't bring myself to say what it was....
So sad, that the parents of the OCTs do not have the opportunity to affix the ranks of OCT in the parade...The whole lot of us scramble for shelter after the commander instructed us to run for shelter...
It was an unforgettable POP for us...
I'm quite sad for those who didn't get their CPL ranks due to fail in English or didn't pass IPPT...Nevertheless, I didn't feel that I'm much higher because of CPL but I felt much honoured to be with my squad...
After through thick and thin, we pulled it off together. In this joyous occassion, I was also quite sad to leave the squad because we are being posted to different vocations...The memories when we first came are still fresh. Hopefully, we can continue to bond and be merry always....To those who I have offended, please forgive me...
Thank you...Squad 49
