Budget 2007? Huh? I have no idea what impact it going to give me. Except that we (ns men) going to have an extra $100. I don't know whether to celebrate for that fact.
Before I forget, Happy Chinese New Year to all my fellow chinese friends and for those who are not yet married when they are suppose to, please do the govt a favour. Moreover, govt give you back moolah in return.
Last week, a little slack for NPCO officers. Until when we are bombarded with forms after forms to practice. Investigation Papers and all that. I wasn't looking forward for afternoon classes but what comes after that.
Driving!! Yeah...
Actually, it is all depend on the instructors. If he is on good terms, I don't mind at all. However, if those who are nagging non-stop, it will make a serious trouble for me.
Afterall, I'm the slowest learner compared to my squadmates. They have already proceeded with reversing while I'm stuck with right and left turns. I didn't even get to do the U turn.
Travelling at high speed is okay except that judging with the cars zooming pass from behind you is pretty scary. After a few quick recaps, I was back on track in the circuit doing my narrow courses, the "S" course and the crank course.
It was freaking difficult to judge and maintain your speed. My footwork and handwork need serious coordination. Hitting a kerb is 10 pts. Mounting it = FAILURE. Arghhh! More than 18pts you get a straight F. Haiz....Looks like I need to prepare $318.54 for next test.
SPF made it compulsory for NPCO officers to get a driving license. The best part is FREE!! The not so best part is that FAIL = $318.54. Out of meagre pay, I think I have to survive on instant noodles.
The first few days of the week, I was quite down because I was under performing. I should have use all my instincts and drive it out on my own. Of course, I need to listen to them . The thing is that, they kept nagging and nagging without any compliments or something encouraging. I can't work when people kept stressing the same point over and over again. Just wait and let me try.
When the second half of the week came, I was more confident and able to drive without any stalling.Wah!! Miracles. I'm able to move off albeit need to release the clucth a little slowly. Toyota Vios is really sensitive. The instructors are less nagging and their eerie silence can sometimes be very spooky.
Nevertheless, I can manage. Hopefully, I can pass on my first try.
