The news of the earthquake were splashed all over the media and the Singaporeans I think are over reacting.
I don't mean to be ignorant and I know the fact that Singapore have the chance to hit with even much powerful earthquake to reduce it to ground zero. It is not that I wished.
Reporters were scrambling to get this as hot news and I think earthquake is not that really hot enough. It getting on my nerve with Singaporeans exaggerating their "experiences". The feeling is the same like in a boat.
Where was I? Well, I was on my way to work and maybe I was too far away to feel the tremors. Maybe it is the careful work of our engineers that we ought to feel safe.
Singaporeans should relax and be calm. Any major catastrophe happens, go out in the open space like multi-purpose field. Can't go out, hide under a stable and strong cupboard or table. Shield yourself from broken glasses. Avoid naked flames and switch off all electrical appliances.
In summary, use your common sense. Take cover if possible.
Take care and good night.
