Money Talks....

Never did I realise that I was jealous because my regular counterparts had their bonus payout in their account. But when I think again, I'm not a regular so what's the point being jealous.

Some of them were getting at least 1.5 times of their regular pay and the highest I heard is 2.8 times. It was pretty something that everyone was looking forward to..

So, together with over thousand civil servants island wide, they were trying to log into the PacGov which contains the amount of bonus they will be getting. The poor system was too overwhelmed that it couldn't eleviate the anxiety of the officers..

I just watched them, clicking away and re-logging several times and painting rosy pictures...

For me, I didn't really hope much from the government. All I can say is that I'm serving my NS and I know I won't be getting any special bonuses or whatsoever...

Money is always an issue. No body can live without money. Serious. Try to live a day without spending anything. Nothing is free.
