Okay lately, there are a few things that has been happening these few days...
Firstly, my aunt had just passed on. She suffered critical burns and had been in the ICU since last 3 weeks. It was due to the fact that her kitchen had suddenly exploded and injured her simultaneously. May Allah keep her at peace.
My sister is going to get engage soon this June. I know it was about time. I don't really know much about her boyfriend except that he works at the Novena gym. Well, as long as my sister happy, we should too.
My uncle from Belgium had already left Singapore and I hope that he had so much fun and happy to get to meet us. Espescially my ailing grandma who is now still in SGH. We all really pity for her condition. Hopefully, she can get stronger and well.
As for me, yeap, still working. The mundane job can never get anymore interesting. Seriously. How could people expect police to do everything for them. People who never tried to help themselves should be born a handicapped. I really mean it. Misusing the civil servants is a no go. It is as if you are asking the teacher to come to your house and teach you or asking the firemen to come to your house to complain about fire. Please. We are the civil servants and not public servant. They have different meaning. Even though I'm not a civil servant myself, but the torment that I see through their uniform can make anyone exasperated.
About customer satisfaction. Nowadays, all, private and government instituitions including stat boards empahises a lot on customer satisfaction. I don't mind going the extra mile to make the day of my customer but who can withstand and accede to the whims and fancies of the customer. If the customer is proven to be so obnoxious and out of the mind, would you smile or grit your teeth? We may have tried our best to avoid customer complains. The best part is that our bosses will treat all our customer kings and pour the cold water on us. We get soaked and never give a hoot about its customer. So what we do? RESIGN!!
I know it is not the best way but this is the reality. We can't just stand out in the open for people to whack us left right centre. If we think that we could perform better than to stupidly adhere to the hypocrisy of company's welfare to its employees, we should jump off and save ourselves from the tormenting environment.
Working environment should be happy with a pinch of salt that we might have to swallow. It is up to us how we want to work, happily or stressed? With loads of angst or back stabbing?
I know reality hurts. That's life, anyway.
