Today, I just took the Qualifiying English Test (QET) at SMU. I know, I shouldn't have tried it but I paid for it so, yeap, I thought that I can do. However, the paper proved to be a much difficult than I thought initially.

The first section was just grammar. It just confuses you with grammar nonsense and expect you to correct them. 30% is quite heavy. It is okay. I think everyone can pull through that section. Next comes the essay question. I had the "Students as consumers" essay. When I looked at it, I thought "WTF!" Serious! I never read Newsweek neither do I read anything regarding about todays events regarding students.

So what I did I do, I just wrote my nonsense in the paper and blabber with little knowledge that I have. I seriously believe that I'm going to burn my $25 and spend extra time doing Academic Writing. That's the module which could be exempted if I pass the QET.

Moving on, I opened up my email inbox and there was one particular email from SMU Finance office. I was billed with the coming semester which cost me $3808 to be exact. I almost fell of my chair when I read and digest the numbers. How the hell am I going to cough up that hefty amount of money? Certainly my parents would be dead shocked too.

Not to worry, I have to complete the Mendaki form fast and submit to them with all relevant details and documents. ORD coming soon and that means I'm going broke in the couple of months. I should start pressing the panic button very soon or I shall see never ending doomsday till I start my school.

I need a saviour!! Help....
