This is my continued post during my first drive Malaysia trip :)
After we passed the Malaysian customs, we drove towards Kulai which is one of the expressways that we have to use to get to our destination, Kg. Sibol. It is located near Kota Tinggi waterfalls. So, I drove off, tailing behind my uncle who leds us through the expressway.
My concentration on the two cars in front of me never wane. I forced myself to focus on the unknown road and try to be oblivious to 97.6fm. The dimly lit streets never help me at all. Of course, everything seemed so alien to me. After about half an hour of driving, we finally got off from the expressway and now it was our turn to lead the way.
The thing about Malaysian road is that most of the major roads have lights. However, those minor roads didn't have any single lampost. I was petrified as I transfixed my eyes on the road and my arms glued to the steering wheel. To add matters worse, these minor roads can stretch for miles away. Mind you that I was driving at night.
To my left and right, forest flanked for miles on either side of me. Fortunately, the moon mercifully shone its brightness on the road except for thick dark clouds obscuring it every now and then. It was a good thing that there were reflectors installed on the roads. That really helped me to stay in my lane. With super high beam, I drove carefully through the winding roads of Malaysia....tbc
