Alright, here I'm again. I had just finished my Software Engineering (SE) mid-term test and there will be more coming up within the next two weeks. Life can never get better with each stress starts to pile up one after another.
While I was typing this, I'm sitting with a couple of friends just to chill out and take a break after the most horrible test I ever taken. Although I have no doubt that I will pass, however, I can't guarantee the marks that I can get.
The subjects for next term has already been released and many students have either already decided what to take and others are discussing with their friends to take the same subject together. Me, I have to re-look into the schedule that I had made the previous term as I'm taking a Business Study Mission (BSM) to UAE,Qatar,Bahrain and Kuwait. Initially, I wanted to go to Germany but I guessed I rather finished it next term.
Then again, the prices are too steep for me. (read: $3000 max) I have difficulty of getting that money as I neither have rich parents nor rich sugar mummies. :) I have tried asking for financial assistance however, the school decided I have reached over the limit. Hence, I was denied. Simply because they decided that poor means you have less than $3000 of the total income. I was like hello, if 1 person have a total income of $2ooo, did he qualify? Of course yes. It is for himself. If the total income is $10000 for 20 people, then each one will get at least $500, is that enough? This is not including the total household bills that they have to pay. Where is justice?
I have yet to find where to address this issue. I felt cheated by the school and discriminated against. The school only provides help for the poor and let the people like us be stranded without any help. They didn't even bother to try. Seriously. I won't mention names here.
